So it begins....

So tomorrow I have my first college portfolio interview.

It is at Point Park University in Pittsburgh.

For all the colleges I have applied to, I am trying to major in stage management because that has been something that has really opened my eyes and I see my passion for it only growing stronger as I go to school for it.

Me and my parents are driving up there at 1 in the morning because it's like a 6 hour drive and I have to be there by 8-8:30.

I'm really excited, but also tremendously nervous.

Anyway wish me luck on tomorrows interview.

1st Club Meeting TODAY

Today I have my first club meeting, and it is for Thespian Society (we're doing elections). Not a big deal, and hopefully it will only take a few minutes because I also have a throw together meeting for a club to plan BTS night and the Activity Carnival.


School has been going well lately. All my classes are acceptable (Thank God I don't have to pull a Lemongrab)


I honestly can't wait to start applying to colleges. I'm applying to 6 because of their Stage Management programs.


BTW, Drama will be starting soon, cannot wait to do stage crew.


Anyway, everything is good so far.

Morning

So I was on Tumblr, just fucking around, and I type in what I want to aspire to be (a Stage Manager) and I see all this stuff that basically screams if you don't like hard work and dedication turn away now, and I'm just sitting here thinking bring it on, when I finally enter college and start studying to become a stage manager, I want that hard work, and no sleep, and dedication, and long nights...I'll be signing up for the long run. I'm only a Junior in High School and have only stage managed two high school plays, but I got the bug and I want the complexity of this job, I know I can handle it, I mean I already don't have a life~

Any stage managers around ?
