8 More Days For Me

We are finally in June and that means 8 more days of school for me. I'm basically doing nothing in all my classes so it's like whatever at this point, this week will hopefully go by quick. I have a World Language Club meeting tomorrow after school, then the Drama Banquet on Wednesday, Thursday is a do nothing day, then Friday is Field Day (SKIPPING!)

I still have to do my film final that's due Wednesday, I finished typing up what I want to say for the video essay, I also put together my written film essays, and one film review, I now just have to find (somehow) 2 short films, and one music video I've helped work on this year, and then I just have to take a picture of a poster one of my groups made. I decided to teach to get outta doing the film resume, because I'm clueless and I hate making resumes.

So that'll be my project for the next 2 days because it's not due in class, it's probably due by 11:59 on Wednesday night.

I'm doing my video essay on Tim Burton and his films, I basically chose to talk about my favorites and just mentioned some of the ones he worked on.

Senior Week is next week, super excited (hoping I get a scholarship or award) I convinced my only friend in the senior class to do the senior picnic with me because I really wanted to go.

So excited for next week, I also have to make teacher gifts and buy teacher gifts for 5 teachers, Mrs. Tunney, Mr. Clark, Madame Scheaffer, Mrs. Wright, and Mrs. Gaskill. They each have done something great for me and I want to thank them for it.

Then after all the senior week activities and gift giving, it is finally graduation, but it's supposed to rain for almost all this week and next week, so I'm a little worried that graduation will be rained out. It said AM showers for the 12th, but it's raining on all the practices as well.

Oh well, hopefully Mother Nature takes a break from ruining events.

School is Coming to a Close

So school is coming to a close soon, just 11 more school days and then we get out on the 12th of June and it's graduation the same day.

I'm really excited because my final drama banquet is next week on the 3rd (June) and I'm really excited to say one final "Goodbye" to my drama family. I've been with drama since my freshman year and I've never left, not once did I miss a play or musical, I was always there behind the scenes (and that one time onstage).

I'm still deciding what to bring in for food, maybe dinner rolls ? Possibly ??? Something simple, because it's either bring food or fork over $5, and they really just want the food so everyone has enough to eat.

Our high school has a field day on the 5th (June) and I'm skipping it (it'll be my unofficial Senior Skip Day). I just don't do physical activity and it'll probably be blazing hot that day, so I'll root for my team on the sidelines from my couch in my air conditioned home.

I just got an assignment to sell 5 yearbooks, each yearbook we sell is worth 20 points, I'll probably only end up selling 2, which is 40 points which will alter my 100 grade average in Yearbook, but whatever, hopefully I don't end up taking the final.

Senior Take Over Day is tomorrow, and I'm taking over my favorite teacher Mr. Clark. He's literally the best teacher in the school in my opinion. He's so chill and amazing. I get to "teach" his classes and hang out with him all day (What a dream come true ^_^).

Then Senior Week is the week of June 8th and hopefully I win a scholarship or something for Awards Night, and get to be in an all day Awards Night rehearsal.

I love that my time at high school is coming to a close, and I'm also very sad.

Just 11 more school days (technically 10 because I'm skipping Field Day) and then I'm done with high school forever.

THURSDAY

So today, I am going out with my two wonderful friends after school, and I could not be anymore excited. I am ditching my clubs and activities to hang out with them, which is something I wouldn't do for just anyone.

We're probably just going to BAM or the mall to just sit and talk.

I'm just glad I get to see them before they leave (I'm gonna miss them D:)

I think I'm missing rehearsal and a Social Studies Club meeting, but that's no big deal, It's just the beginning of the school year, so there's plenty more meetings and rehearsals. (It just kinda kills me a little inside that I am purposely skipping out on those two activities).

I'm good. I'm good.
